The entire box is painted with periwinkle blue high quality exterior paint, then has hand painted sunflower mandala details on the front of the hive only.
All Wicked Ladies Bees hive boxes are designed so the beekeeper can move its position in the hive throughout the season and still enjoy beautiful artwork. This is especially important when reordering brood boxes in spring, or managing colonies throughout the year.
All details are also applied with exterior grade paint for years of beautiful apiary use.
